I received a call from an American photographer/journalist about a month ago asking my opinions on who I thought were the best UK wedding photographers around. I was more than happy to offer my thoughts on this subject and then not thinking anymore about it received notification that he had published a list of the top 10 wedding photographers in the UK. I always take a look at these ratings/lists etc out of interest to see what is happening within the industry but my clients opinions are what count most. However, knowing that Randolph has polled fellow photographers around the UK and we came second is really quite nice and makes me think that we are on the right track with regards our style and commitment to documenting weddings naturally as well as producing some stunning portraits of our couples.
We also have a busy year ahead of us with some fantastic weddings with wonderful clients in locations such as Australia, France, UK and of course my beloved island of Jersey. I thought I would post some of my favourite images from a wedding this weekend. It was a wonderful wedding to document in fabulous surroundings!
I am always looking for opportunities to get in close during the preparations. This close up shows some great details of the eye lashes and is a shot that I really like. |
The brides dress was simply stunning! It was designed by Vera Wang on New York's Madison Avenue. This shot documents a quiet moment of reflection.
