We are delighted to announce we have received some placings in the Q4 WPJA awards. This is great news for us as we worked very hard last year!
The WPJA not only exposes our work to potential clients from around the world, it really does motivate us to produce a very high standard of work as we are pitting ourselves amongst some of the best wedding photographers in the world.

Caroline and Chris's Wedding

I had the honour of documenting Chris and Caroline's wedding last Saturday here in Jersey, Channel Islands. The weather was fantastic and the bride and groom had an amazing day during what was a very relaxed wedding held in a quite beautiful church in the Parish of St John. The reception was held in the wonderful setting of Victoria College.
Below you can see the church where they got married from their living room window along with a selection of my favourite images from the wedding. I suppose if I had to choose an absolute favourite it would be of Chris and Caroline during their first dance, you can see in Caroline's face her enjoyment during the dance, I also really like the movement in the image, it gives you a great sense of action.
For photographers that follow this blog I suppose what I look for above everything else is emotion in peoples faces. A good example is the image of Caroline's father as they stand in the church, he is looking up to the roof trying to keep back the tears. Another example is of Caroline hugging her father you can see that her father means a lot to her.

6th Birthday!

I must apologise for my lack of posts recently but I have been taking some time out recently to relax and spend quality some time with my family, do some restructuring of the business (more news on that soon!) and a dash of IT for good measure. So we are now ready for the year ahead and raring to go..........
I don't post many personal things on the blog - but thought I would share a couple of photos (taken by Andy) of my sons, Helier (on his sixth birthday) and Louis (who is three). Both are fantastic boys and really keep my wife and I on our toes.
Lots of people say Helier looks like his dad!! What a handsome chap he is.....
